DATA PROTECTION

The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

We have concluded a corresponding contract for data processing with the provider. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offering and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized [pseudonymization is recommended for the legal reason “legitimate interest”; this must be clarified with the web analysis service]. The user data is stored for a period of 9 months.

Your rights You generally have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection regarding your data stored by us. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to kosmetik@alexina.at or the data protection authority. Data storage I would like to point out that, for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for later contract processing, the web shop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner as part of cookies, as well as the name, address and payment information of the buyer. Once the shopping process is canceled, the data we have stored will not be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the tax retention period (7 years) has expired. The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are stored. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.

Use of Google Analytics We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimize our website and advertising measures. During your website visit, the following data, among others, is recorded: Pages viewed Orders including sales and the products ordered Your behavior on the pages (e.g. clicks, scrolling behavior and length of stay) Your approximate location (country and city) Your IP address (in shortened form so that a clear assignment is not possible) Technical information such as browser, internet provider, device and screen resolution, source of your visit (i.e. which website or advertising medium you used to come to us) This data is transferred to a Google server in the USA. Google observes the data protection regulations of the “EU-US Privacy Shield” agreement. Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID that can be used to recognize you on future website visits. The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely. You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract for data processing with the provider. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible.
